How do I put in an image in the image widget- on the home page of my blog? I have uploaded the image and copy and pasted the URL into the section that I am supposed to, but no image shows up- only the title. Please help!

The blog I need help with is naturalish.wordpress.com.

    Hi there,
Yes, I have tried this and it does not work. I copy and pasted the link of the URL and it doesn't work. Is there another way of doing this?

    thanks!

  3. What is the URL of the image?
Where exactly is that image hosted?

Hi there... I have it in "media" and then in "library". I go into "edit" and I copied the URL...http://naturalish.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=557#main and pasted it into the area I need to. Is that incorrect?

    thanks!

    Hello,

Sorry to be a bother- just wondering if my last reply is incorrect. I am assuming there is an easy way to go about doing this;)

    thanks!

  6. The URL for an image does not have the attachment extension you posted above. That's the link to an attachment page.

What is the URL for the image please?

http://naturalish.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=557&action=edit ...that seems to look funny. I apologize for not knowing if this is correct, I am not computer savyy by any means.

    Thanks for your help.

  8. I'm sorry but we Volunteers cannot view previews. These are the accepted image file type extensions:
    .jpg/.jpeg
    .gif
    .png

Here are more details about the options for uploading images http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/images-the-three-link-options/

  9. You go to Media > Library, click Edit under the image title, and copy the image URL from the File URL field of the Save module: that's the URL you need to use.
