Please Review: An Artist's Blog

  1. I would love your feedback on my blog. I only post every so often, not like Maze a Day or Mysticmask. I post images of new projects, exhibit openings, that sort if thing.

I try to post some rather deep writing sometimes too. I'd like to be a once a week kind of blogger giving something a little deeper and richer.

It has been very useful to have this blog as an Entrepreneur/artist, I've seen it generate a large amount of business for me, and I hope to continue to improve it.

Question: Do you think interlinking is good or too much? For example I try to link to other posts and pages in the blog in each of my posts.

    Thanks so much!

I'm not clear on what you mean by "interlinking".

    1. If you mean linking to your earlier posts in your more recent posts using correct anchor text then by all means do that.

    2. If you mean linking to directly related artciles found in aother blogs in the same niche as your own in your posts then by all means do that. That's what blogging is all about. It's backlinks the number of backlinks and value of the sites they are on that results in pagerank.

    3. If you mean reciprocal link exchanges resulting in blogroll links be extremely cautious and avoiding reciprocal link exchanges with unrelated sites. If too many of your outbound or blogroll links are to sites of low quality it may make it harder for your own site to rank for relevant queries, and some search engines may look at inlink and outlink ratios, as well as, link quality when determining how natural a site’s link profile is.

    4. Avoid all macklinks schemes regardless if they are called link parties or awards or whatever. Google looks for natural linking patterns and their alogritm is attuned to detecting link schemes.
