Hello ~ Do I have the option to use plug ins on my blog. I wanted to add NextGen gallery but can't find plug ins on my dashboard anywhere. Is this is an option for my wordpress blog? Thanks. ~ Lori

There is no FTP access to our free hosted WorPress.com blogs and we bloggers can't install plugins for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install plugins. Only those with WordPress.org installs can use plugins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Okay, thanks. That settles that for me. I've been trying to figure out how to fix an issue I'm having, and I thought a plug in could help. Maybe you can answer another question for me.
I'm trying to find a way to watermark photos. I just got a new computer and my old photo program is not working properly with it. Otherwise, I'd just mark them through that photo program.
I've used Windows Live Write for posting a few blogs, and it watermarks photos, but it too, is giving me trouble. It won't post the blogs immediately, and post dates them to days earlier. The blog then doesn't show up in topics or in anyone's readers because it's an older date.
So, my question is, do you have any other suggestions on how I can watermark photos I put on my blog?
