Hey, Ive checked the other forums and descriptions there are too advanced for me to understand. I upgraded to pro, and I don't even have a plugins panel! As you can see, I now have a domain instead of using the wordpress.com one. Can anyone help me please, because the limited functionality of my blog doesn't let it be/look as professional as I want it to.

There is no FTP access to WordPress.com free hosted blogs. We bloggers cannot install any plugins. Those are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

There is no upgrade that you can purchase from WordPress.com that provides FTP access , the ability to install plugins, third party themes and software into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard

Sorry to continue to ask what may seem like ignorant questions, but if I ask for a refund, I lose my css capabilities and also the ability to use custom colors and backgrounds (which appear limited though) right? Plus, other hosting sites cost like 2 dollars monthly. Is that realistic? How do i use hosting sites properly?
Plus when I ask for a refund, does my domain name become available again?
If I am no longer on pro but have a new domain name, how do I customize the appearance of my site in an advanced manner?
