I have been meaning to add a pool into text box that appears on my first page. It seems like I need to shrink the pool so it fits perfectly. How can I alter the size of pool by using HTML?

See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/polls/ As far as I know, you cannot resize a poll. You could either place it in a sticky post instead of your sidebar, or choose one of the "narrow stgle" poll designs that fit in the sidebar.
Thank you very much!! I didn't realize that pools come in different sizes. I solved the problem by choosing a narrower box.
