I can't get my header image centered so that it has even amounts of black on the right and left rather than being pushed to the left and having extra black on the right. I've tried adjusting padding and margins, but it either does nothing or extends the black further to the right outside the main box. I'm new at this...help!

Did you know that when we edit CSS we can no longer use the header image uploader and have to include the image URL in the CSS Stylesheet?
[Staff Edit: You can use custom CSS and the normal header image uploader, you just have to make sure not to overwrite the header image CSS in your custom CSS.]

Neither I nor noiricplume are able to help with CSS editing. Please be patient while waiting for either Staff or another Volunteer to help you.

HI everyone. I am super frustrated. I've been using the Bueno theme template and uploaded a custom header and can't seem to align my header with my pages navigation links "About" and "Stationery Shop" to the right of my header. Any help is much appreciated!

Both your header and your Page tabs are correctly aligned. WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform. Here all blogs wearing the same theme are using the same template. We cannot eit themes or templates and change functionality at all. Only Staff can access and edit and every edit they makes affects all blogs wearing the same theme.
The pages navigation links are positioned where the template is coded to display them. If you add more Pages to the top navigation the display will add them on the right hand side and the list of page tabs will move to the left to accommodate them.
With regard to the "Stationery Shop" do be aware that WordPress.com free hosted blogs cannot be used to drive traffic to third party sites. Also note that no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM.

To clarify, it's okay to use WordPress.com for business or to link to your business and especially to blog about your business!
