   Am looking for the old automatically generated possibly related posts.

   All the info I am finding is for an old version of the dashboard I believe.

   Please share some knowledge

   You are referring to "possibly related posts" which used to be enabled here > Appearance > Extras but they have been gone for over a year now. You can use Zemanta. http://en.support.wordpress.com/zemanta-for-recommended-links-photos-articles/
