Post Details on Chaotic Soul

  1. Is it possible for the "post details" to be added to the bottom of a post using the Chaotic Soul theme?

I found out that it appears on image's pages:

But on posts all I get is this:

And on pages I get nothing except:

    Edit this entry.

Thanks in advance. I want to make things easy for my readers (and I). XD

  2. Best bet would be to submit this as a theme bug via feedback. Do stress that it does it in one method in one place and another in another. (Therefore a bug)

  3. You can report this via a feedback. However I believe it is a known bug. If timestamps are important to you please use the forum search box. In there you will find a thread that lists the names of themes with and without timestamps. It was prepared before chaotic soul was brought on line here. If you want to know all the features and known bugs in the theme go to http://engtech.wordpress.com/tools/wordpress/wordpress-theme-reviews/ and click on the one for chaotic soul.
Edit: drmike and I were typing at the same time. ;)

  4. Ok, I'll send this to support once they're back up.

    Thanks for the quick replies.

  5. I actually like the lack of info there. It looks cleaner.

  6. It's a toss up and that's what we try to get through to folks who raise issues like this. Everyone has different tastes on what they like and want in a theme. It's one of the reasons why I feel staff just does as little as possible to change themes from what the designer created.

Except for bugs of course. :)

I, for one, prefer to see categories on the post's individual pages. That way the search engine spiders pick up on what the post is discussing. We've had a couple of threads in the past where the spiders were only picking up on the index pages and creating a lot of false positives with some technical blogs.
