Post Format "Gallery" Not working on some posts

    On my front page, some posts with pictures display as 1 slidebar (NOT an insert gallery sidebar, but a slidebar created by the theme), and some show the actual post with all the pictures. From everything I can tell there is no difference between the post formats or anything else. How can I get the slide bar on all "gallery type" posts?

    The blog I need help with is ggeer3.wordpress.com.

    Figured out the pictures need to be "attached" to the post in order to work as a gallery type.
