post is not shown in the 'Global Tags' listing

    would anyone do me a favor please: confirm/deny/fix that the following post of mine has NOT made it to none of my beloved 'Global Tags' directory listings, according to Categories it has been filed in.

    what's strange it's reached the Technorati, but I can't see it in the 'Global Tags', may be you'll have more luck?

    It isn't in there right now, but it doesn't seem to update instantaneously. Not sure why, but give it a day or 2 and then we will see!

    considering that fact my next post 'Ping Pong' has immediately appeared in all 'Global Tags' it's been filed into, I am inclined to think Global Tags does seem to update instantaneously.

    otherwise, what the use of 'a zeitgeist of what’s popular in the last 48 hours' if its outdated by "a day or 2"?

    No sense getting snarly about it or sarcastic, for that matter. I have had posts that have for whatever reason or another made it into the global tags within minutes and others have haven't that I can't explain why they took 48 hours. Send in a feedback and ask the staff about it.

    never had such an experience for a year since my local categories suddenly turned into 'a zeitgeist of what’s popular'... it just occured to me that post for whatever reason appeared not popular enough to get into Global Tags ;-)

    well, but seriously, you must be right, it's probably a WordPress.com snark indeed.

    I've had a similar experience. Some of my posts get to the Global Tags pages, some don't for days or a week once, if memory serves, and then only at the back. It's annoying, particularly if you're blogging something topical and with a short half-life. I sent a couple of feedbacks but haven't heard back.

    please, I cant update my blogs template, post or edit my posts or create another pages. Whats wrong with global dashboard? is there a way to do this? Please, Im ver worried! help

    hmm, another post is missing Global Tags...

    it's not that I care much about presenting my opus magnum into "a zeitgeist of what’s popular in the last 48 hours" within a reasonable timeframe or even at all -- anyway, GT are absolutely useless from my stats view (not sure if anyone besides splog-bots use them at all).

    me is more concerned that 'Filed into:' links in the post header claiming (in the 'title' tooltip) they allow a visitor to 'View all posts in <CategoryName>', would lead him/ to an absolutely unrelated place which doesn't list the original post itself, i.e. literally nowhere instead.

    perhaps my 'Global Tags' quest ought to be continued with a post titled "Global Tags seem to be going to Nowhere at all"

    yep, it has finally made it to the zeitgeist today.

    it has probably been delayed in a some sort of the GT line untill it's accomplished making it with Diana's Chance posts ;-)

    had to change this topic status back to 'Unresolved' since this issue still persists.

    Technorati does pick up my posts instantaneously, no dice on .COM GT.

    Mark, would you please, tell me if my blog is mature enough to get in GT or not?

    I started using pingoat about 4-6 weeks ago. After publication of posts I ping and shortly thereafter they are on the Technorati pages.

    Re: your other problem - after publication my posts appear almost instantaneously on the wordpress.com tag pages and in the correct position.
