post on homepage for Shelf theme

  1. Hi, I need some help with something that is probably very simple- I just can't seem to figure it out! I have set my front page display as my static homepage. I want this page to also be where my posts go, but they just will not! Please help me!

    The blog I need help with is motorcitysixty.org.

  2. I’m sorry but we Volunteers have no knowledge of premium themes and how they are intended to work so we provide no support for them at all. Your theme is a premium theme and when you purchased it what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Go here > Appearance > Themes and click the link you find there to the Premium Themes Forum please.

  3. Static pages and post pages are mutually exclusive. Just make the Blog the landing page of your blog instead.

  4. That being said, I have never heard of a theme which this kind of behavior:
    "I have set my front page display as my static homepage. I want this page to also be where my posts go .."

    There is only one running page for posts in any blog. With the other themes we make a one or the other choice. Either we have posts on the front page (dynamic) or we have a static front page. We make that choice here > Settings > Reading
    Front page displays

    __Your latest posts

    A static page (select below)

    * Front page:
    * Posts page:

    That's my 2 cents and I'll leave it to your to use the Premium Themes Forum

  5. Oops! sorry raincoaster. I should have refreshed.
