i would like to know if the separating the posts is based upon the theme it self or can i manage to separate post from settings... and what i mean is having like a thick line instead of a light line or a long line instead of a short one or even having each post in its own box etc...

We cannot answer that question without a link to the blog.
It is not a setting that you can change in the dashboard. Every theme has its own way of separating post and that was chosen by the theme designer.
To change way posts are separated would require experience editing CSS and the paid CSS upgrade. Since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade, and few here in the forums with much CSS experience, you should figure that you are on your own. Before buying the upgrade, you can go to appearance > edit CSS and wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try out changes before you buy the upgrade.

You can always just ADD whatever image you want at the bottom of every post. Some bloggers do that.
