Post Slider in Delicacy

    I cannot figure out how to set up a post slider in Delicacy. I am still working on setting everything up before I truly start posting etc, but I have done a couple of test sticky posts to help create the slider.

    From what I am reading, it sounds like when editing a page you can do something with the post slider template? under page attributes, it says there should be a template drop down, but this is not showing up for me. I am not positive this is the solution for the post slider though. Please advise. Thank you!

    Open the editor of the post or page where you want to display a unique custom header image, and locate the Featured Image module in the bottom right corner under Page Attributes. Click Choose a Featured Image.

    If you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

    Thank you! Is there a way to make it scroll through automatically?

    Is there a different theme that has this option? Or any options for to me add this to my blog?

    There are no post sliders that allow you to set the time for the advancement of the featured posts. You can see a list of all the themes at WordPress.com that have post sliders here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/ In most themes with post sliders for featured posts vsitiors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Here are some themes that have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, On Demand, Modularity Lite, Sight. Note that last two are free themes.

    Hi vcpark,

    The Sight and Forever themes both feature sliders that scroll automatically. You can also check out the demos of our themes with featured sliders to find others that might work for you.
