I do hope this forum post captures correctly the chars that the blog posts miss...
I try to do something like:
[sourcecode language="cpp"]
"cookie"
[/sourcecode]
(just "" would do as well)
and i see:
"cookie"
In case the two snippets look identical: the top one has backslash+zero right between the 'e' and the closing quotes.
Any advice would be appreciated!

The blog I need help with is thetweaker.wordpress.com.
We need a link to your blog, starting with http, and if you want to post code in the forums, post it between backticks, which are usually on the same key as the ~
So: Backtick, all the code, Backtick.
That makes it display properly.
I just got a reply from wordpress support - it was indeed a wordpress bug, and should be fixed now.
