Posting to pages

  1. I want my pages to have posts under the title and short description. On my site, I have a "Cities" category with a "Los Angeles" subcategory. I would like my restaurant reviews from Los Angeles to show up as links with short snippets of the article text that will open up to the full article on this page.

The blog I need help with is atlasgrubbed.wordpress.com.

  2. We organize our posts by use of categories. To organize your posts, assign categories and sub-categories, create a custom menu and include them in it.

There is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts and we cannot post to more than that one page. However, we can create the appearance that we have done that by setting up a custom menu and displaying Categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation menu. Instructions > custom menus > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  3. with short snippets of the article text that will open up to the full article on this page

In most theme what's displayed on categories and archives pages is the same as what's displayed on the main page for posts (by default it's the front page). You can insert the more tag into each post so only excepts display. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ Or you can use a theme that automatically displays excerpt http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/theme-with-automatic-excerpts?replies=13#post-1396410
