I have a few different usernames (log in into WP), all of them are also admins at other blogs I have.
When I was publishing a new post I had the option of choosing which "user" (i.e. username) would appear as the post author.
Now I don't have this option anymore. The only option I have is to post under the name I am logged in as.
Is this new, or is it a bug ?

Some themes display author name bylines and some do not. Are your referring to a wordpress.com blog? If so we cannot help you without an active link to the blog in question starting with http:// Please post it now.
Actually the same thing has happened with my blog: http://darksideofthefridge.wordpress.com
There should be, on the dashboard, an option to select the "posted by" author - that seems to be gone. Is this permanent?
