I am using the 2010 theme with a custom navigation menu bar. All pages are static with the exception of the "BLOG" tab assigned as a Parent Page tab with three category (Bids, Leads and General) pages as sub pages. These category sub pages are where specific post entries appear within each specific category (that is, all Bids posts entries goes to the Bids Category sub page, all Lead post entries to the Leads Category sub page and so on) thus "creating the appearance that posts entries are posted to more than one page" (my thanks goes to timethief for guidance on this)
This is my dilemma - I will have posts almost every week on all three Category pages but my posts are not the usual "paragraph/sentence/period" format; but in "somewhat like" table or column format. I have tried both tables and columns via HTML on post (thanks so much to Panaghiotisadam, thesacredpath and timethief for their guidance and patience in explaining all "technical difficulties", I seriously, wouldn't be able to figure out all the capabilities of wordpress by myself) and it worked on the visual mode but not displayed correctly on the site category page.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I came to the conclusion that the tables and columns can be done ONLY on individual post, but not on posts that have assigned category sub pages. I then tried to just enter post like (for lack of a better term) an individual "item data format" for example:
Project: WordPress development
Description: New Theme structure
Status: On going
and just like the tables and columns, it looks fine in visual mode, but once updated and previewed on site it goes to a "one line/level" format structure that looks like this:
Project: WordPress development Description: New Theme structure Status: On going
Any suggestions? Sorry for the long post, I'm trying to be as detailed and descriptive as I can. Thanks in advance
The blog I need help with is page-accounting.com.
