Posts no longer show in Google Search

  1. Hello!
A little over a week ago I noticed my new posts not showing in searches. Usually my posts would show not too long after I published. I wasn't sure if it was a Google indexing issue, so I waited.
My next post did the same. Now, it's to the point where even old posts that used to show in search no longer show up. I have tried Google Webmaster tools to Fetch as Googlebot, but it came back as failed. I didn't change anything in my settings, so I am not sure what caused my posts to stop indexing, if that is what is going on. I am just getting unbelievably frustrated, as some of my interviews and reviews are time sensitive, yet nobody seems to be able to search for them anyway. I'd been struggling to get these written by a certain date and time, and now it seems to be for nothing! Please help! :)

The blog I need help with is laparadiddle.com.

  2. Might have something to do with the 62 tags on your last Post - or 28 on another Post etc.

  3. Oh goodness! This is something I was asking about the other day, thank you for pointing out--more tags=worse in searches? I was led to believe the other. Thank you so much!

  4. Yep, that would do it. Take it down to a dozen or fewer. This is tag spamming, and you've undoubtably been marked as a spammer by Google.

  5. See here > global tags > missing posts
These days search engines pay more attention to your keywords in your content than they do to your keywords in Tags/Categories. Revisting Keywords and Tags

  6. Oh dear! Thank you so much to both, I will try this!

  7. You be welcome
