I see that the date/time is on the page where I create my posts. Why isn't this working?
My three posts from today (yep, I blog a lot) are in order of First, Middle and Newest.
I thought it'd be the other way around.

The site linked to your name is private so I can not take a look at what you have done. As a guess, I wonder if you have marked each of your posts as "sticky?"

If so, then change the visibility for each post to simply "public." That is, untick "Stick this post to the front page" and update each as you do so.
