posts out of order

  1. Hello,
In my blog, the topmost posts are NOT the ones that are most recently posted. Instead, all of the posts by my friend, whose name starts with C, come before all of mine, whose member name starts with M. I can't seem to find a way to change it so that the most recent posts are at the top.

    Can anyone help??
    Thanks in advance!

The posts with the grey background have been set as "sticky" posts. In other words, they "stick" to the top of the blog. Open each of the posts that have the grey background and above the "save" button, deselect "sticky post" and then save each post. They will then be in proper order.

Let the other person (name starts with "C") that they need to make sure and deselect the sticky post option when they write a post.

  3. Sorry, I should also add that we were both "administrators" but that I changed my friend to "editor" and it's still the same. I thought that might have helped.

You need to edit the posts and deselect "sticky post" and then resave the post. It has nothing to do with the editor or administrator setting.
