I want to keep my blog public except I want to make a few posts private, which I can do. However I also want those that have actually subscribed to follow me to be able to see those private posts (but not those that haven't subscribed). Is there a way to do that?

The blog I need help with is bristolmary.wordpress.com.
Private posts mean that only you can see them. To have your blog public but allow followers, but not the general public, to read certain posts, means you'd have to password protect them, and then give the password to your followers. They would have to go onto your blog to enter the password and read the posts though, rather than just reading from email or the Reader. But you'd never be sure that they wouldn't also pass the password on to others.
