posts showing up where my sidebar should be

  1. For some reason, the title of a post is showing up in my sidebar (rather than with the post it belongs to), and none of my widgets are there. Any suggestions? I'm using the "Motion" theme.

The blog I need help with is marcilevine.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi. In order to assist you, we need the URL of your blog, starting with http:// please. Thanks.

  3. It's marcionice.com.

    Thanks.

  4. Ok. It's actually http://marcilevine.wordpress.com (for the sake of determining if it's really hosted by WordPress.com or not).

Could you provide us with the exact link where this is happening?

  5. Oddly enough, it's now fixed. I am not sure why. What I did was make "Views Around Town" a draft then repost. It seems to be fixed now, but can you help me figure out why this was happening?

    Thanks.

  6. I can't, because I have not been able to see what the problem was in the first place :-)

  7. That always happens when you have an extra closing div tag in the code of a post. If you have enabled the option "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" in Settings>Writing and you change the post to draft then back to published, it auto-corrects.
