Premium Theme, Headlines, question...

  1. Does anyone know why the post titles are coming in white and not black? Is it a change in the CSS I need to make. We recently moved to the 'Headlines' theme by WooThemes.

    Home page: http://theguruinvestor.com (this is fine)
    Post page: http://theguruinvestor.com/2011/09/16/meredith-whitney-the-bull (notice the head line is blank (it's there in the HTML but it's white, not black).

    Any thoughts?

    The blog I need help with is theguruinvestor.com.

  2. Headlines is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. Posting to this peer support forum is not likely to be productive, though theme Staff do monitor these threads. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Please click this link and post to that forum for theme support. 3. Hi @validea,

    It looks like you've got some Custom CSS that's turning the post titles white. This is what's causing it:

    h1, h1 a, h1 a:hover, h1 a:visited, #header .description {<br /> color: white;<br /> text-decoration: none;<br /> }

    Removing "h1, h1 a and h1 a:hover" would fix the problem. If you need some of your h1's to be white, try using more specific selector names in your CSS rules.

  4. That worked. Thank you.
