Premium themes on WordPress.com and on self hosted site

    I am trying to work out if I buy a premium theme for my wordpress blog, can I also use that theme for my self hosted site?
    I used a wordpress.org theme for my self hosted website, but would like both, my site and my WP.com blog to have the same theme.

    Can someone please help me out here.
    I did send a message to support but have yet to receive a response.

    Note: Premium Themes that are licensed for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ If you contact the theme designer you may be able to locate a theme that’s almost the same for both sites.
