Preventing Content/Picture Theft

  1. Hey guys,

I have a question. I was playing around with the settings and wondering whether its possible to disable right click for readers coming on to my sight? As more readers are visiting my site, I am finding my original pictures showing up elsewhere on the internet. I would like to keep my content and pictures mine, so I was wondering how to do so. I understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and that the former does not host the disable right click plug-in

Please let me know if there is any way I can do so, or whether there are other ways to prevent content theft! Thank you very much!

The blog I need help with is noirxchat.wordpress.com.

  2. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins. Please be aware that disabling right-click is a useless exercise that creates a false sense of security. Anyone can defeat it in seconds flat and for obvious reasons I won't describe how to do that here. You are far better served by watermarking your images Here’s a technique for you to make it just a bit harder for someone to get your images. See also > Prevent Content Theft
