Preview window says "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria"

    I have a draft post that I've saved. When I click the Preview link, a new IE window opens but the page says "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria". I have my blog forwarded to my own domain, if this makes a difference.

    I really need to be able to double-check my posts before publishing them. How can I get Preview to work?

    Your draft posts are accessible here -> Manage -> Posts ->
    Status (choose draft) then click "Filter"

    Is this the way you are using to access them? Do you have another browser that you can try?

    I'm having the same problem, and my blog also is mapped to my own domain--however, the preview feature <i>did</i> work normally for a while; it was only after WP changed its functionality (from the old Save and Preview button, or whatever it was) that the problem started.

    The same problem occurs when trying to access a preview through the interface you mentioned, timethief; you can edit the draft by accessing it that way, but you can't <i>preview</i> it. It's as if you can't view a WYSIWYG copy of your draft until after it's published, which seems to miss the point of the whole preview feature altogether.

    I've tried in both IE and Firefox. Same issue.

    I'm assuming you have both cleared your cookies.
    The Cookie Dance

    step 1. log out
    step 2. clear your browser cookie
    step 3. clear your browser cache/temporary internet files
    step 4. close your browser
    step 5. go back and test

    Staff do monitor these threads and in order to help you they need to know:
    - your browser
    - your browser version
    - your FULL blog address (not the name, the real address that begins http:// )
    - your FULL username
    - your REAL email address that is registered here
    - and a very good description of the exact problem.
