I have a private blog and invited family to join. They correctly went through the steps and requested a Username, not a blog themselves. When they log in, they get a general page. When they put in the specific URL for the blog, they are not permitted to enter it despite following all the steps, clicking on links in the email, etc. This is maddening and disappointing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is upinmaine.wordpress.com.
Assuming your blog is hosted on WordPress.COM http://support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ particularly #3.
Please consider linking your username to your blog as described in the sticky at the top of this forum "8 Thing to Know". That way the forum volunteers can see at a glance if you are hosted here.
