Private blog, I the Administrator cant View?

  1. I made my blog private, and now even I cant view it, the titled administrator.
    How can I view my own blog, though kept as private?
    I tried to invite myself, yet when I came to accept the invite, was told it a no go area.

    If so then provided you log in here http://furtherfinding.com/wp-admin/ under the exact same username account that registered that blog you ought to be able to access it.

  3. I followed the first link to the same access asking link and was denied.
    The second simply takes me to my dashboard and yet still wont allow me to view the blog. I can read and edit all the posts, I could always do that, just not view them as a complete constructed, with theme, blog.
    Still no go.

  4. How many username accounts do you have?
    Exactly which username account registered the blog in question?

    Are you logging out of one username account and clearing your browser cache and cookies before logging in under a another username account?

    When you register a username account here all that's required is an email address, which becomes your unique identifier. If you are logged in and register a blog then it's registered under that unique identifier.

    You cannot access any blog and work on it unless you are logged in under the exact username account that registered the blog.

  5. Still no go. I ought be able to view it, it just simply keeps asking me to sign in and when i do it does nothing. But empty the sign in box and there it remains, unallowing me to visually see the built blog.

    Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

  8. Hello, first of all, (funny how we all say 'first off'...surmising a 'of all' is also an 'off') I do seem to be subscribed to this thread, because I am contacted, with each post y'all have added.
    I dont rightly know how to follow through with clearing my cache?

    I will check another browser shortly, but I also thought to inform, because I know it Not usual, that if logged into my account and adding to my blogs, that as and when i enter it, or add to it, that it shows up that I have been 'viewed' or have had any external to myself, traffic. I am not a visitor, nor viewer of my own blog, except when not signed in, which if I can add a post, means I certainly am logged in, so that is a fault or symptom to the illness, that might add to the finding what is wrong, and that which would cure it.

  9. Thank you raincoaster, I seemed to be able to clear my cookies and cache, almost completely, though 180 something seemed to stay put, I also lowered the amount that my cache can contain.
    However even with this, the problem still persists.
    I shall now go and try another browser.

  10. Okay, I checked the other browser, and that one works, this one, does not, for the problem I mentioned, all other functions work fine.
    What would be the next movement to make, as this browser, the one that has the hick-up, has a reliable spell checker and that rather useful for a writer, so would optimumly prefer to keep to this browser, however...you tell me, as and when it please, of course.

Hello, I am still having this problem, though i did also learn, that one time when this browser and set up was not functioning properly, it gave me another quarter upon my computer and there had no trouble at all. So what would that indicate? That it more than my browser but something within or applied...? where? somewhere in tools no doubt? well I asked so there must be some small doubt? right? (self smile)(read my blog)

  12. What browser (and version) are you running? and what other browser have you tried? Could you please also give me more details about the exact steps you took before bumping into an issue?
