I've created a new private blog with P2 theme to my public blog. I've gone into the privacy settings and added users. Are these essentially guests who can comment on my blog posts? If I send them an invite, will they just sign in like a regular commenter, e.g. user name/email address? I don't really want to give authoring/editing rights to other users, but would like to use it for private discussion. Thanks for your help

They should just be like regular visitors - Editing should be a completely separate status.
The invitations to view your blog should be sent via the "Settings>Privacy" and not from "Users>Users" or "Users>Invites".
