Private Page not available to contributors

    My contributors are not able to view a page I set as private.
    Why is that? I want to share the page with authors/editors/contributors but not the public.

    Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in the Reader, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/
