   Hi,
   I'm trying to keep my site private for clients only. I also want to add a translate this site to Russian and Italian. I don't seem to be able to do both. When a "user" logs in and then clicks on either the Russian or Italian button (to go to google translate) it asks them to re log in and then doesn't translate. I've had to make the site public at the moment to get the translation button to work. would be nice if the translate button was like the wordpress.org one (I think its a java thing).
   Any thoughts or work arounds or complete rethinks??

   The problem is when you site is private, Google Translate cannot access it. It doesn't have that permission. There is no way around that that I know of.

   I'm wondering about having some sort of separate landing pages or some public some private.mmmmm need to think about this one.
