   I am unable to the following because there is no Category Menu/box displayed under the Appearance, Menus page:

   Adding Category Pages to Your Menu

   All posts will appear on your main posts page, but you can also create category pages that only display posts that you’ve designated with a specific category.

   Simply check the box of the categories for which you want to create a page, and click Add to Menu.

   The only information displayed are: Theme Locations, Pages and My Custom Menu. There isn't a Categories Menu.

   First off on the custom menu page, click the "screen options" tab at upper right and make sure the categories module is activated.

   Second, only categories that have been assigned to at least one published post will show up there.
