   I am trying to post my own header image in a Salmon theme and it just shows a broken link where the banner should be. I added the img info to the header.php like this:

   <h1>" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>"><img src="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>/images/ebilink.jpg" alt="East Bay Insomniac"></h1>

   And I uploaded the image to /var/www/html/images/ and also /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/salmon-10/images/

   Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! http://www.eastbayinsomniac.com

   This forum is only for bloggers with blogs hosted by wordpress.com. That is not a wordpress.com blog. If you have downloaded software from wordpress.org then know that it is different from what we use and that you are in the wrong forum. The forum for those with wordpress.org software is here http://wordpress.org/support

   I think you need to ask over at WordPress.org. That's not a WordPress.com-hosted blog and consequently the whole procedure will be different.
