Problem with Adventure Journal Theme.

  1. Trying to figure this one out, as the preview photo of Adventure Journal looks different than what is showing on my blog.

    Basically, on my blog (wildboarinn.net), on the sidebar widgets, it's supposed to look like a single grey piece of paper behind each widget. Instead, I have an expandable box showing thru, that looks like it's the same color as the beige background. It's really distracting, and while I LOVE this theme, it's bothering me to the point that I almost want to switch.

    Any ideas on how to fix this? Or is this a problem with the theme itself?

    The blog I need help with is wildboarinn.net.

  2. Did you purchase the Design upgrade? If yes, you can add the following line to your custom CSS:

    .widget {background-color: #E9E9E8 !important;}

    It seems it is a problem with the theme though, I see the same problem on the demo page

    You can find more information about the design upgrade here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

  3. Oh you are awesome. That bit of Custom CSS fixed it perfectly! Thank you!

    Hope they fix the theme though - it would be nice to have it working out of the box.

  4. Hi there,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The theme has been updated and the issue has been resolved now.

  5. I'm not seeing the same thing either. I decided to switch my blog to Adventure Theme last night and some of the stated features seem to be missing.

    The widgets on curling paper seems to work just fine in Firefox 8 but are just gray boxes when using Internet Explorer 9.

    I can't seem to find out how to used the "crinkled" sticky post either for those "important notes. But what's odd, is that any reply I've previously typed to a comment shows up in the crinkled paper which I'd really like to use from time to time for a blog post like the "see it in action" shows for the theme. Or is this a feature I have to upgraded to get?

    I like the theme, I'd just like to get all the features to work.

    The blog is at ourbmw.wordpress.com

    Thanks!
