problem with table alignment

  1. Table content cannot be aligned correctly.

Please see http://maxval1967.wordpress.com/rolam/sample/ - the texts "twenty five" and "first" are not aligned correctly, they are nor centered vertically. However on the edit page everything is ok, please see the screenshot http://maxval1967.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/sample.png - any idea why this happens?

The blog I need help with is maxval1967.wordpress.com.

  2. This is happening because you're using outdated coding: valign="" (as well as border="" and several other attributes) have no effect when you use newer themes). Study my tutorial:
    http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/table-coding-for-wordpress-com-users/

  3. Thanks, I changed the attributes and this solved the problem.

  4. You're welcome.
You should also remove border="1" from the table tag: you're seeing borders because that's the default in the theme you're using, not because you added the border attribute.
