Problem with the facebook widget

    Hello ALL

    I am complete noob at blogging but I follow instructions well. This is my group page on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/groups/abs.uwi
    I would like to use the facebook widget to link my blog to the group on facebook. I place my group url in the widget. However it keeps giving me the same error message:

    Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.

    I thought of publicizing my page but wouldn't that link my personal facebook page with the the blog? I only wish to link the group page with my blog. How do I do this?

    Can someone please assist?

    The blog I need help with is technology4agri.wordpress.com.

    Use the BADGE code. Most other FB widget codes are stripped out for security reasons here. The Badge code works, as you can see from my page http://raincoastermedia.com

    I cannot use the facebook badge because i run a group on facebook and not a page. I can only use facebook badges for group pages or profile pages not the actual group

    how do I link my group to my blog?

    See here in your dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Facebook like box widget for fan pages

    I don't think Facebook groups are the same as pages.

    If the Facebook Like Box widget (which only accepts pages) does not work, and if badges do not work, you'll have to use the good old method of inserting an ordinary link (text or image).

    @tnfishermenvoices: Please... Do not write all in caps (it means you are yelling).

    And we need the URL of your blog in order to help you.
