Problems with Bueno

  1. Hi WordPress,

I've recently started a blog using the Bueno theme and all was looking great until a couple posts in.

Now when I view my blog's homepage there is a ton of white space and everything seems out of alignment, pushed down.

Please help, this is my first wordpress blog and I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing this.

    Thanks,
    Kaitlin

The blog I need help with is kaitlinhaynes.wordpress.com.

Start by correcting your username link, as the blog address isn't valid.

  3. Hi,
I´ve fixed the username link to be kaitlinhaynes.wordpress.com.
Any help you can offer on the formatting of the blog would be very much appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Kaitlin

The issue is due to bad HTML in one or more posts. Go to Settings>Writing, tick the option "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically", click Save Changes. Then go to Posts > All Posts, change all your latest posts to Draft, click Update, change them back to Published, click Update again. (You can edit all of them at once: tick the square in front of their titles then select Edit from the Bulk Actions dropdown and click Apply.)

  5. Up and running now. Thanks so much for your help!

    You're welcome!

  7. Thank you! This also helped me with the Twenty Eleven theme! I asked this in my thread as well but I'll ask it here also. Is ticking the XHTML box going to stop this from happening always, or is there a guideline I should pass to the person posting content on our blog? I'm just the style editor and don't place the content so its hard for me to monitor that every post is being done correctly and the person posting doesn't have any coding knowledge, they are just using the visual editor.

  8. I'm posting this comment just to tick the notify me of follow ups box, forgot to do it on the last one. :D

  9. Ok...I scrolled to the bottom I did find them...oops my goof....BUT How do I get them back on the top left side...the main side bar. Is the one picture I put in, is it too large and did it push them all down or what happened?

Thanks for the heads up and causing me to LOOK!

  10. Thanks to you....I'm not sure what happen. Between your advice and a few others I read and Lord only knows what else I now have my widgets back and on my main side bar...thank you again. :) Blessings to you all.
