Problems with Comments size and Sidebar Links

    I just started using a new theme and some of my CSS from my old theme hasn't carried over to the new one. The one in particular is the comments size. It won't let me change it. I'm no CSS wizard and I will be extremely grateful if someone were to help me. Also, can someone help me change the orange links on the sidebar to a different color?

    The blog I need help with is thegoonermonkey.wordpress.com.

  2. Hey @cristobalshort,

    The one in particular is the comments size. It won't let me change it. I'm no CSS wizard and I will be extremely grateful if someone were to help me.

    What exactly do you want to change about the comments? The following CSS code will reduce the whitespace around them, but I'm not sure that's what you meant:

    .comments-area article {
        padding: 5px 0 15px;
    }

    Please, let me know if I can help you with any other changes to the comments.

    Also, can someone help me change the orange links on the sidebar to a different color?

    Try the following CSS bit:

    #secondary a, #secondary a:hover {
        color: blue;
    }

    You can replace "blue" by any color name or color code you wish to use.

  3. Just so you know the css for each theme is different. I'm not sure if, when you switch themes, the custom css still applies or if it stays with the theme it was used on. So that could be one problem.

    Thanks, the link color changed but I still am not able to change the size of the actual comments size. Do you know anything else that will work?

  5. Can you be a little more specific? Do you want to change the text size or the width or something else?

  6. The text size and text size only.
