Hello. Our blog - http://www.savannahcocktailclub.com - is designed with the bueno theme which displays up to five featured posts in the sidebar.
The featured post widget is now indicating that up to 25 featured posts will appear. Can you please let us know how to fix this.

Featured Posts Widget will show your five most recent posts—with a small thumbnail of your Featured Image.
If you select “Excerpts”, the sidebar will display the beginning of each showcased post. It can also display alternative custom-made excerpts or summaries, if you write those in the Excerpt module of the post editor (see here for more). If you see no Excerpt module on the post editor screen, click “Screen Options” (top right) to activate it.

Staff have been introducing “infinite scroll" to themes — a site wide
change that will be applied to all themes that are suitable for the

Did you choose excerpts? How many posts are set as featured posts?

The featured posts are set as excerpts. And, as you indicate, the five most recent posts should appear. However, this suddenly changed on its own and now the widget indicates that up to 25 excerpts will appear in the sidebar, which is happening. And that essentially is the problem.
I'm flagging this for Staff attention as it looks like infinite scroll may be a factor and as only Themes Staff can address this issue. This thread will be moved to the Themes Forum.

Problem: I'm using the featured posts widget. Unfortunately, when I insert a featured image it shows up with the inserted photo; or, when I insert only a featured image (no inserted image), the featured image doesn't show up when I click on the featured post.

Thank you for the query. The problem was resolved soon after posting our concern. It would be good to know, however, how to deal with this issue if it happens again.

In my opinion the way you dealt with it *is* the best way. It sounds like it was an accidental glitch in the underlying code, so the best way to get something like this resolved, is be to let us know about it :)
