Publicize is not working for Facebook

  1. Publicize is not working for Facebook. It will not post my blog on my Facebook page. I have my blog linked to Twitter, and that works fine. The settings are correct in Facebook for the app, and I have linked my blog to Facebook. It still will not post. I have disconnected and reconnected my blog, using the steps outlined in your help topics, and still it will not post my blog to the wall. What could be the problem?

  2. 1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
    2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

  3. Timetife:

My posts stopped posting to fb idk why? ive tried disconnecting the response was:

I tried disconnecting from facebook when i did it posted

Invalid/missing Keyring core nonce. All core actions require a valid nonce.

    what does that mean?

  4. We've made a number of updates and fixes to Publicize this morning, so can @sunnybremer and @alichatsramble please disconnect from Facebook, then reconnect and try publishing again?

Ok, I disconnected and then reconnected Facebook to my blog. I posted a test post, and I'm thinking this might be a Facebook issue. I'm not seeing the post in my Timeline or in my News feed. But if I check my activity log, it shows that I posted something from WordPress at 4:58pm. If I select that entry, I can see the post in Facebook, yet it's not appearing in my Timeline or News feed.

  6. Facebook is continually experimenting with different "aggregations" of how they show content from different providers. We're also working with them to try to improve how WordPress.com content appears on FB. Keep in mind also that the way you see it is often different from how other people see your content.
