Publicize quits working on pre-loaded blog entries

  1. Twice now, I have "loaded" a post to be displayed at a later time, and twice now, I have had my LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter publicize boxes unchecked when the blog post is displayed on my WordPress blog. I do not uncheck these boxes when setting something up for display at a later time on my blog. So, what is going on? What do I need to do make sure these publicize boxes remain checked. The last time this happened, I checked to make sure the LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook boxes were checked. Still, when published, these boxes became unchecked. Thank you for your time to read this and let me know. --D. Booker, talltalestogo.wordpress.com.

  2. The same issues is happening to our blog. Please WORDPRESS!! Look into this issue!

  3. I'm a new blogger, and I'm relieved to see that this isn't just happening to me. I'm not at all happy that everyone is having this issue. Please fix it WordPress.

  4. Hello all, thanks for letting us know about this issue. We're aware of the issue and our team is working on a fix.

We'll let you know just as soon as it resolved.

  5. Thanks for keeping us informed!

  6. The issue with scheduled posts has been fixed, they will now properly Publicize.

    Sorry for the trouble!

  7. Mine didn't publicize on Facebook this morning. Does this mean the problem is still going on, or is it something I'm doing wrong?

  8. Can you try disconnecting and reconnecting your Facebook connection?

You can follow the guidelines here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook

  9. I did that already. It didn't seem to make a difference.

  10. We just fixed this today, so you should see an improvement on your next scheduled post.

  11. It didn't work again today. Any ideas of what I should do?

  12. This thread is flagged for Staff attention.

  13. Was the post a Draft prior to publication, or was it published immediately after being written?

If it was a Draft, how long has that Draft been around?

  14. I think I always keep posts as drafts for a few days.

  15. Ok, if the post was a Draft prior to the fix, it may not have worked. Posts initially saved as Drafts or published after the fix on June 15 should work.

  16. I just published my first post that hadn't been saved as a draft prior to June 15. It didn't publicize to Facebook, so there's something else amiss here. Is this still a problem for other people, or is it just me? I've tried everything that's been suggested.

  17. Was that post scheduled or published directly?

  18. I had the same issue today. One post was scheduled and one was published directly. BOTH went to twitter only despite my choosing all publicize choices.

  19. I've had this issue all along. I've tried everything that's been recommended, but nothing has helped.
