When I copy a link from my blog (homeopathicure.wordpress.com) onto Facebook or Linkedin it shows the blog as well as the image from the post. I am trying to do the same to my personal website but I cannot get the image from the blog post. Can you give the code or suggest any way in which the image will automatically show up when I paste a link of my blog post on my web site?

Your website isn't configured to pull the image, so why don't you just add it in by hand?

You can try using the custom excerpt module. The custom excerpt function works with Blix on its front page as well as it category and archive pages. It also works with your feed.
