Publish blogs publically but stop followers from being notified

  1. Hi

I have almost 30 blog posts ready to be published as prt of a magazine issue we are producing in the next few days. When I do this I don't want my followers receveing 30 or so emails... how can I ensure this doesn't happen when I do publish it, while keeping the content under wraps until the magazine gets published/announced to all of our followers and wider contacts?

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is thefutureofoccupy.org.

  2. make the post private

  3. Do you want the posts to actually show publicly on the site before the announcement?

Yes without any notification email that is normally sent to our wp followers - every time we post a blog post publically.

Then I will announce the magazine as a whole to these followers and our wider contacts

  5. Set the site to private (settings > privacy), publish all the posts and then set the site back to public and the followers will not be notified.

  6. Thanks!!
