Publish to Facebook doesn't work

Publish to Facebook doesn't work. It is "refreshed" (it sometimes mentions FB connection should be re-authenticated, but that wasn't the issue) & last published there successfully on Jan 4rth.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi there, could you please confirm which site you're referring to, and provide a link to the Facebook page as well? Thanks very much.

  4. Thanks for the links. I've tested your connection and it looks fine from this end.

Would you mind completely removing the Facebook connection, and then re-adding it, and let me know if your next post gets posted to your Facebook profile?

    Will do. Thanks.

Think I have done once before though. :-/

It seems to me that the WordPress iPhone mobile app doesn't post to Facebook etc, correct?

Also, when I schedule a post for future on that app, it publishes immediately.

  7. Hi there, we've run several tests here and both Publicize (sharing to Facebook) and scheduled posts should work through the iPhone app.

Could you give me a link to a scheduled post that was published immediately on the app?

Will do - didn't schedule something yet since.

This one wasn't publicized, for example. Had to do it manually on my FB account. Can you check why that happened? Used iPhone app again.

  9. Could you please clarify whether posts are being publicized to your Facebook account normally when published through the website, but just not through the iPhone app?

Or is the Facebook publicize problem on both the website and iPhone versions?

I'd earlier asked you to try disconnecting and reconnecting your Facebook account, but I wasn't sure whether that had helped on the website. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi here is an example of a scheduled post that published immediately through the iPhone app. I took a screenshot of it with the "schedule" button, but then checked online & it was published already. I only scheduled it for a few minutes ahead - can do for further in the future if you want.

Maybe it's that I'm not supposed to set the status to "published" AND set the scheduled time, maybe I should leave it as draft & just set the date & time to future & that would then 'upgrade' it from DRAFT status at that time?

I will follow up with more info around publicize as you asked - I didn't try to do on website since, but plan to & then report back.

    Thanks & Regards

    Great, thanks.

The steps for scheduling a post are outlined here:

You do need to click the button that says Schedule in order to complete the process - is it possible you just missed that step?

No, I scheduled on web a few times before. I did press & then it published immediately, as mentioned. Will read that link later, but I guess it's similar to web process.
