I've tried to edit a misspelled name in a post and couldn't update the changes. I've tried to do it several times and I've received an error message instead. Then I've checked if I could publish a new post, but I've received the same error message from WP. What's going on?
The blog I need help with is hristea.wordpress.com.
What does the error message say? and what is your blog URL?.
The message I receive:

I am having a similar issue. All of the buttons in my Visual Post Editor are not working and if I type or paste text directly into the post box I am unable to get a cursor in order to edit the text. I have tried disabling and re-enabling the visual text editor but this does not fix the problem. I am currently unable to post any new content.

Actually I can type or edit the text into the box, but cannot publish anything.
I'm having that problem also...not that I want to publish unedited content. From what I'm reading in a few other posts - this appears to be all the same issue with the post editor but so far no one has any answers. I have also tried logging out, clearing my browser cache and logging back in - all to no avail.
Yup, it's definitely something related to WP, not our terminals. I most probably wouldn't have noticed the problem if I've just spelled that name properly last night when published. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I'm having the same problem. I'm basically in lockdown. Can't really do anything.
Whatever is causing this issue seems to be affecting random members but not the whole community or there would be a much bigger outcry. No answer for the last 2.5 hours and the issue still persists. Love WordPress but I'm a bit unhappy about this shutdown of support. I have a regular feature that gets posted every Friday so I have had to post messages in Facebook and Twitter advising readers that I am unable to post - what a pain in the butt guys.
Solved the problem by switching out of IE9 which seems to have been the cause of the posting issue. Try it.
I did try that, but it didn't work for me. It's a bit disheartening.

I am having a similar problem. I've pasted my test for the blog and it does not appear in the editor. However, when I posted it, its there. However, it is not letting me post photos to this particular blog.
A more fustrating problem, my blog seems to have lost all of its style and theme even though all the settings are correct. It would not accept a photo earlier in the week when it was in this same mode.

What is the error message you're encountering? Could you describe what happens when you try to post?
