Pull Header from the Library

  1. Hello -- I have an image in my library that I want to use as the header, but I can't figure out how to do so. The only option I can find is to upload another image, but I don't want to do that because WP seems to compromise my images after they are cropped. So I want to use the one already in my library. How do I get to it?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is stonebrookpublishing.wordpress.com.

  2. You will have to upload the image again from the appearance > header page. There is no way to enter a URL or choose an image from the media library for the headers.

  3. Also, crop and size the image to the exact dimensions required for your particular theme before uploading it. The WP crop feature will never be as good as a dedicated image editing program. That is the only way to preserve image quality.
