pulling articles from websites into my blog.

  1. Is it possible to link websites like cosmopolitan/GQ/other sites to my wordpress so my blog can have articles from this websites ?

The blog I need help with is vanitycentral.wordpress.com.

  2. No. WordPress.com is a blogging platform for bloggers who create original content. The Terms of Service are clear when it comes to copyright. This is a blogging platform, not an aggregation platform. RSS widgets operate only in sidebars. Moreover, The types of blogs allowed and not allowed and not allowed disallow blogs comprised of posts or pages that are auto-filled with content scraped from other sites. (Scroll to the end of the page I linked to above.)

  3. SIGH ... I just clicked into the blog linked to your username. If that's the site in question it's not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and you are posting to the wrong support forum. You must post to http://wordpress.org/support/
    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  4. am not posting in regards to the vanitycentral blog.
What i am trying to say is that if i have a blog that is about fashion, how can i make references to fashion websites and such ?
Will i have to use a link ?

  5. what is with you " SIGH" ?
I asked for help and if you do not want to, don't bother !!!!
Stop trying to make it seem like you could be doing something better than helping. Please you do not have to help me.
    Thank you

We get lots of questions from users who have self-hosted blogs but mistakenly post here instead of the wp.org forum: that's what "SIGH" had to do with. The least you can do to help us help you is paste the URL of the blog in question when you're not talking about the blog linked to your username.

So, it is possible. And it will get your blog suspended and may expose you to criminal and/or civil prosecution.
