Purchased 15 credits, Not Showing Up

  1. I purchased 15 credits via PayPal, but my credits are not showing up. The first Payment I tried to do through Paypal got screwed up/ cancelled, but the second one went through successfully & I still have not received my credits.

    The blog I need help with is shelikestoread.wordpress.com.

    Re the URL: No, that's only for detecting and auto-responding to wp.ORG visitors who often come here instead of their own forum.

    Re the credits: How long has it been? It takes some time for them to show up, so my initial answer is just wait.

  8. I really do appreciate your help, but...

    I've purchased other domain names on here before & the change was instant. I wish I could cancel somehow. Oh, well! This service pretty much sucks. I went ahead and purchased my domain name through godaddy - instant transaction! Imagine that in 2009.

    I'm probably going to move this blog to blogger, anyway, I just want my credits.

    Well that's your prerogative. I'm not a fanatic who would brag about WP's merits (my blog is with WP, and I like it here, but I also contribute to a Blogspot blog, and I think they simply have different pros and cons). But I don't think this particular problem should be the decisive factor in your choice. You are right that it could or should be instant, and I think it often is so, but Saturday probably does play a role too. To me, wanting to abandon WP because of a 2-hour delay in this is somewhat exaggerated.

    The only thing I can add is that I've been a regular in this forum for 9 months now, and I've only seen this complaint once. (If I remember well, the blogger reported that his credits showed up after 14 hours.)

    panaghiotisadam, I've been a regular here for over a year and I have three blogs and, no, it doesn't usually take that long which is why it is called a PROBLEM. And it has been a day now and the credits still have not shown up.

    WP is a great service & I hope this will eventually be resolved.

    Sorry but your remark is pointless. My 7:02 PM post says "I've only seen this complaint once" and "I don't think this particular problem [etc.]". So I didn't deny that it is unusual or that it is a problem. I simply suggested you wait when the problem was only a 2- or 3-hour delay. And my 4:38 PM post says that this was "my initial answer": I expected more news from you, hopefully good, otherwise I would tell you to contact Support. Jane told you that in the meantime, so there was nothing more to say.

    As for your hopes, if you have contacted Support here's an example that might boost them:

  13. panaghiotisadam, obviously you keep posting here only for attention. Nothing that you have said has helped at all. "Just wait," is not advice. I don't need you to post examples of people who have had the same problem. I did a search before I started my own thread. Goodness, can you please move on to a different support thread???
