Purchased WP Premium but still need to pay for Premium theme??

  1. Hi there,

    I'm new to WP.
I purchased wp.com Premium, but I can't use the Premium themes. WP asks me to pay again for that. Does anyone know if this is normal??

The blog I need help with is evileyepix.com.

  2. Which exact upgrades or bundle did you buy?

  3. The Premium bundle does not include premium themes only the Business bundle includes them.

Note that none of the plans allow you to upload your own themes or plugins. If you need a site that requires a custom theme or plugins — e.g., if you want to be able to sell things directly from your site, or if you want to install discussion forums — a self-hosted WordPress site might be right for you.

WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  4. "WordPress.com Premium at 99$" and a domain name at 26$ but free as a promotion.

  5. @timethief. The 99$ version should allow me to "Choose from over 120 free themes". It doesn't. I don't understand why.

  6. Err... I see that in "my payments" on WP, it says that I paid 0$ for the domain name, but paypal charged me... Well...

  7. Yes, it does allow you to choose from over 120 free themes. It doesn't allow you access to the premium themes, which cost around $70 each.
