I dont know why that comes up when I type in the website into url. I am currently posting and I have visitors,comments as well but when I type in purplewig.wordpress.com it says that the blog is no longer available how can that be possible? How can i fix this? PLEASE HELP!!

It's unfortunate that you deleted the blog by using these instructions that include 3 warnings and require clicking a verification link in an email. The warnings and verification email state that deleted blog URLs are not recycled. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
